Gaby Joseph is excited to join the Matan team after spending almost a decade working in the disability and inclusion space. Gaby is a trained special education teacher with experience working in a variety of public educational settings including self contained Autism classrooms and inclusive preschool programs. In addition to teaching, Gaby has served as an inclusion specialist for religious school programs, provided 1:1 tutoring to children with significant cognitive disabilities, and facilitated professional development sessions for Jewish early childhood centers.
In addition to working at Matan, Gaby serves as a learning specialist at a local charter school and is participating in the Rhode Island Leadership Education in Neurodevelopmental and other Related Disabilities program (RI LEND). She is excited to use all of these opportunities to deepen her scope of practice when it comes to working with an interdisciplinary team working to support the inclusion and integration of all people with disabilities.
Gaby has her Bachelors degree in Sociology from Franklin and Marshall College and her Masters Degree in Special Education with a concentration in severe and profound disabilities and autism spectrum disorder from Johns Hopkins University.
