Dr. Rachel Orgel has 15 years of experience in education. She is a proud three-time graduate of the University of Florida holding a Bachelor of Arts in Education, a Master of Education in special education, and a Doctor of Education in curriculum and instruction. Prior to her current position as a curriculum specialist for Montgomery County Public Schools, Rachel served as an instructional coach and taught in both general education and special education classrooms from Pre-Kindergarten through fifth grade. Throughout her career, Rachel has been dedicated to inclusion, equity, and advocating for marginalized people’s rights. With her husband, Adam, she lives in Chevy Chase, Maryland, but considers Japan to be her home.
