The newest member of the team, Bethany joined the Matan professional staff in the summer of 2023 as Matan’s first full-time Marketing and Communications Manager. Prior to this role, Bethany worked for 18 “chai” years at Pardes Jewish Day School in Scottsdale, AZ. During her time at Pardes, she spent eight years teaching fourth grade, five years serving as Director of Admissions, and five years establishing and leading the marketing and communications department as Director of Strategic Communications.

Bethany earned her Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Washington University in St. Louis and her Master of Arts in Education with a focus in elementary education from Johns Hopkins University. Bethany lives in Phoenix, AZ with her husband and two teenage children. When not working, you can often find Bethany spending time with family, walking her dogs, reading, and cheering for the Phoenix Suns!
